Alaska Trip 5-24 to 6-8-04 Galleries

Alaska Trip 5/24 - 6/8/04 : A wonderful 2200 mile two-week trip. First week on land, second week cruising plus Vancouver. We flew to Fairbanks, boarded the Holland America domed RR car. Traveled to Denali for two nights, where we took a Tundra tour with wildife (saw mother grizzlie and cub) and I flew to the top of Mount McKinley (most exciting thing I've ever done!), then the RR on to Anchorage. Then to Seward with a stop at a skiing resort. At Seward we took an excellent 4-hr. Kenai Fjords small boat cruise seeing much sea and wild life, then boarded the Holland America ship for the cruise down the cost and through the inside passage (College Fjord, Glacier Bay, Sitka, Juneau, Ketchikan) to Vancouver. We stayed there an extra two days touring Victoria Island and the Butchart Gardens before we flew home.
